Mark Groshek, MD

As a college student, majoring in English Literature, I volunteered in the local hospital, visiting patients who were alone. I realized then that I wanted to be able to do more for the people I visited, and decided to become a doctor. In medical school, working with children and their parents seemed a natural fit for me, so I went into pediatrics. Every day, I get to see kids of all ages and am reminded that I made the right choice! After completing my pediatric residency in Texas, I came home to Denver and joined the Kaiser Permanente, Arapahoe Medical Offices, where I have been happily working since 1989.

Working with children and their families is the great joy of my life. I see myself as a partner with parents—we work together to help their children grow up healthy and happy, and to help them become interesting and talented young adults. As I approach my 20th year of practicing medicine, I'm humbled to see the children of parents I took care of when they were younger. I really enjoy taking care of children of all ages and am particularly interested in pediatric sports medicine and international adoption. Half my time presently involves practicing pediatrics, with the remainder devoted to working with HealthConnect, our electronic medical record system. It's exciting to be part of the team that ensures all our staff have the information we need when we're caring for people. I am especially proud of bringing My Health Manager to our members via kp.org, so they can see their own medical information online and use e-mail as an additional way to connect with their doctors.

I volunteer in the Pediatric Clinic at the Samaritan House shelter, and am an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Because it's so important that every person receive care in a way that is respectful and comfortable for them, I'm involved in Diversity Education at Kaiser Permanente.

Favorite Colorado Activities:
Living in beautiful Colorado, I love to spend time outdoors, running, cycling, skiing, and rowing. When I'm done outside I savor the chance to cook food from all over the world. Travel is a passion of mine and, while I have visited every continent but Antarctica, there are still many places I want to visit, especially so that I can visit the local markets. I also love to read and take care of our large collection of indoor plants as well as our two parrots.

Dear Dr. Groshek...there is complete healing for Autism found via the AIM program of Energetic balancing (www.aimprogram.com) developed by brilliant physicist Stephen Lewis. Dr. of Homeopathy and acupuncture, for over 25 years, Stephen went into research over 10 years ago and developed the AIM program. There is a FREE scholarship program on AIM funded by Dr. Wayne Dyer, ($1000 value) for children & adults with Autism, Downs syndrome, and newly added, Cystic Fibrosis. Autism being a condition associated with the malfunction of the detox system, it can be addressed and healed successfully through this program within 12 months. Once the frequencies associated with Autism (there are 5) are removed, the 'condition' of Autism will no longer be present. When the root cause of Autism is addressed, the illness falls away. You cannot heal anything on the physical level without first addressing its energetic root cause. 'Bandaiding' the symptoms will not eliminate the problem, and may in fact make it worse, as drugs and surgery weaken the physical body......wouldn't you agree? I would highly recommend the AIM program for any and all children with cancer, asthma, diabetes, and anything other illness/disease that you can think of including meningitis, and H1N1. We are all made of energy, three dimensional dense energy. Everything is energy, everything vibrates, everything has a frequency, and therefore, anything is possible. Being a compassionate man who dedicates his life to the health and healing of children, I would encourage you to explore this cutting edge, non-invasive, option (especially for infants) and pass along to your colleagues. God Bless you and your staff for the work that you do each day in saving the lives of children! Cyndi
