Dr. Kiehn has been my plastic surgeon since March of 09 when I was diagnosed with very early stage breast cancer. Due to family history I opted for a bilateral mastectomy. In choosing the kind of reconstruction that I wanted Dr. Kiehn was very thorough, explaining the pro's and con's to every procedure. I, unfortunately seemed to have more than my fair share of complications and even through all of that Dr. Kiehn was my biggest advocate. He never sugar-coated anything but let me know exactly what to expect - that was very important to me. I had my 6th (and hopefully final) surgery at the end of August '10, and although there have been, again, a few bumps in the road, I am absolutely, without a doubt, confident that I will be as happy with the end result and Dr. Kiehn says I will be. His office staff is also top-notch. Knowledgeable, compassionate yet firm on what is okay and not okay. Can't argue with them. I would recommend Dr. Kiehn to ANYONE who has to deal with breast reconstruction.
